     Bear Brook Bog is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a wonderful local campground; if you've had enough of Bear Brook Bog, Bear Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Caucomgomoc Stream is a pleasant whitewater spot close to Bear Brook Bog; it's a magnificent idea to go to Bear Brook. All through the summertime months highs here at Bear Brook Bog get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the  
   50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Bear Brook Bog. Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a perfect site to get some rest.
Bear Brook Bog is a good place of typical precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Penobscot River - West Branch, and you're probably keen on lakes, McDougal Pond is one of those close by.

This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
