     If you need a site to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a wonderful choice; a lake close by is Big Mucalsea Pond. The annual rainfall here at Bean Pot Pond is about average; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Summertime highs at Bean Pot Pond generally tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows during  
   the winter for Bean Pot Pond tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Bean Pot Pond is not the only place close by, Little Mucalsea Pond is a close by lake, and you can run the rapids of Baker Branch.
There's so much to do here at Bean Pot Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a good site for that, and get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Penobscot River - West Branch.

This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
