Camping is available at Frost Pond Campground. Lakes? Sure, Kelly Pond is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake, and don't leave Bean Pond without first going for a hike along the Old Telos Tote Road. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Big Squaw while you're here, and wonderful hiking is available along the Big Spencer Mountain Trail. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bean Pond are in the-10's.
