     If the weather is delightful here at Beal Pond, you can go for a hike along the Brook Trail, and if you've had enough of Beal Pond, Bog Pond is close by. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Beal Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beal Pond has to offer, you can camp at Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground, and unsurprisingly Conant Stream is a scenic stream that is worth going to. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but  
   if it's for you then we recommend Orbeton Stream, and dry warm beds await you at Wilson Lake Inn.
The slopes of Saddleback are so inviting noone can resist, and Herbert Grand Hotel is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Beal Pond you can take a hike along the Bigelow Range Trail, and Beal Pond is not the only location nearby, Toothaker Pond is a nearby lake. A typical amount of rain falls here at Beal Pond;
 
               November is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month is February.
There's so much to do here at Beal Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Dummer's Beach is a tremendous spot for that, and hey, Gotta ski right? Sugarloaf USA is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Sandy River, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Piazza Rock Trail. All through the summertime months, highs usually are in the 70's at Beal Pond, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Beal Pond descend into the 0's.

Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far  the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention....
