If you need a place to stay Katahdin Inn is a wonderful choice, and you can run the rapids of Seboeis River. Yeah, come here to Batch Pond for a perfect time. Homestead Lodge is a splendid local campground. Batch Pond gets a common amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect sites       to look at along the Matagamon Tote Road, and Batch Pond is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Umcolcus Sporting Camps is a brilliant place to camp nearby. During the warmest time of the year at Batch Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Batch Pond. Going for a hike on the Snowshoe                  Lake Road is always a nice adventure; there's whitewater on Shin Brook River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
