This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to go to Abraquidassat Point while you're here at Baskahegan Lake; Old Farm Inn is a pleasant campground here. Having a great time at Baskahegan Lake is painless. All through the days of summer here at Baskahegan Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down       to the 20's, and night lows through the winter for Baskahegan Lake tend to be in the 0's. Don't leave Baskahegan Lake without first going for a hike along the Potters Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Mountain View Campground is a great location to camp. Swamps don’t sound that pleasant but Elliott Gut next to Baskahegan Lake is quite pleasant; paddling on Baskahegan Stream is so much fun.
