So many exciting things to do here at The Basin, too pleasant to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Baskahegan Stream offers some glorious whitewater, and since you're here you have to stop by Picnic Point. Summertime at The Basin comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to       the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's while The Basin nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Take a little tour to Sucker Brook while you're here at The Basin; Jackson Brook Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. A lake nearby is Little Pickerel Pond, and camping is available at Greenland Cove Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Scottish Inns Houlton, and a fine                  location to camp here at The Basin is Maine Wilderness Camps.
