     Take a look at close by Jones Bog, and New Hermon Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Basin Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, The Moorings Campground is a nice local campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. From a rainfall point of view Basin Pond is a reasonably normal spot; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. On a perfect day at  
   Basin Pond you can take a hike along the Spring Brook Trail, and while you're here, you could also check out beautiful Toddy Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Moose Pond Campground is a brilliant location to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Londonderry Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Marsh Stream, and why not head up to Camden and strap some skis to your feet. If you have a thing about the outdoors,
 
               you'll like Basin Pond. If you need a place to stay Seascape Motel & Cottages is a magnificent choice, and you'll locate a stunning lake called Thistle Pond.
The Mount Battie Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Basin Pond; you acquire a wonderful vista of Haskell Hill from here. Throughout the days of summer here at Basin Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Basin Pond during the winter commonly descend into the 0's. Float down the rapids of Goose River in a kayak.
