A charming lake like Black Brook Pond near Basin Pond is a fine place to take a look at, and whitewater paddling is great on Enchanted Stream.       Hit the slopes at Sugarloaf USA close by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Basin Pond has to offer, you can camp at Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Take a hike on the Fire Warden Trail, and at Basin Pond you can distinguish Hedgehog Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. An interesting thing to have a look at in close proximity to Basin Pond is Black Brook Dam, and Fish Pond is                  a splendid lake close by. There's so much to do here at Basin Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Northern Outdoors is a wonderful place for that, and if you need a place to stay Herbert Grand Hotel is a great choice. All through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Basin Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Basin Pond.
