     Sixteenth Stream is a glorious lake close to Barrows Lake; Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a good local destination. Breakneck Mountain is clearly visible from Barrows Lake, and there are other places here than Barrows Lake, for example Pleasant Lake. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Barrows Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Northern Inlet, and if you're interested in  
   hydro structures, you can pop by Barrows Lake Dam.
Barrows Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer at Barrows Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows at Barrows Lake throughout the winter mostly sink into the 0's.
 
               Meadow Brook flows through this neighborhood, and why not camp at Chet's Camps if you're here at Barrows Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Big Lake Campground is a magnificent location to camp, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on East Machias River.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) . Hunting in that area was, should I say, productive . ...
