Barren Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sunset Point Campground is a great local campground, and get dripping wet paddling on Mopang Stream. Some nearby water includes Barren Pond Brook, and camping at Mainayr Campground is always a great experience. For the duration of the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 70's at Barren Pond while overnight lows are regularly       in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Barren Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. If you need a spot to stay Bar Harbor Inn is a nice choice; there's nice hiking along the Lead Mountain Trail. So many entertaining things near Barren Pond, clearly tremendous. Float down the rapids of Pleasant River in a kayak, and a journey to The Middle Grounds revitalizes the soul.
