One of the governing traits of the surroundings of Barnett Pond is Jam Hill, and golf can be played at Paris Hill Country Club. You could also check out Mud Pond since you're here at Barnett Pond; it's close by; if you came for an overnight stay Paul and Gail's Campground is a great spot to camp. So much cool stuff to do at Barnett Pond, so little time. Get dripping       wet paddling on Little Androscoggin River, and after a long day outdoors Goodwin's Motor Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Barnett Pond generally tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Barnett Pond are in the 0's. A good deal of precipitation falls at Barnett Pond; during the month of November                  you get the most rain around here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Poland Spring Campground is a splendid campground here, and if you need a place to stay Ledgewood Motel is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Shawnee Peak. Gotta ski! Lost Valley is a pleasant site to do that, and there's some flowing water nearby, Dunham Brook is a stream you can explore during your stay.
