An afternoon playing golf at Paris Hill Country Club is always a bliss; on a pretty day you obtain a delightful view of Jam Hill from Barnett Pond. Stay the night at Paul and Gail's Campground, and people from Lewiston-Auburn love to come here. Barnett Pond is a reasonably       wet place frequently with a good deal of rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is September. Barnett Pond is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Hemlock Camping is a fine spot to camp nearby, and the slopes of Lost Valley are so inviting noone can resist. All through the warm months highs here at Barnett Pond get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the                  20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Barnett Pond temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
