After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a great site to spend a night or two, and a day on the slopes of Eaton Mountain is just what you need. All through the summer months at Barker Pond highs are typically in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Highs through       the winter are frequently in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Barker Pond are in the 0's. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. Bog Pond is a great lake close to Barker Pond; the sight of stunning Parlin Hill is great. While you're here at Barker Pond you will meet lots of folks from nearby Augusta-Waterville. Barker Pond gets a lot of water; during the month of July you get the most rain around                  here; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Skowhegan/Canaan KOA, and a charming lake like Perry Pond is a good spot to check out.
