     Barker Mill Dam Pond is in close proximity to Barker Mill Dam which is a gorgeous location undeniably worth checking out; if you came for an overnight stay Maine Campground Owners Association is a good location to camp. For the duration of the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Barker Mill Dam Pond. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Androscoggin River Reservoir since you're here at Barker Mill Dam Pond; it's nearby, and you get a brilliant sight of Mount David from here. This is a nice small pond just off of 302 but you can't hear any of the busy traffic. I'd recommend LOTS of bug sprays as the mosquitoes tend to swarm and are very plentiful this year. If you're not a fisherman but your children are...there are picnic tables for you to enjoy a book, needlepoint, or just relax and take in the fresh air....
