     Go for a hike on the Intake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This place, Baker Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. Why not camp at Woody's Campground and Cottages since you're here at Baker Pond, and playing golf is lots of fun at MT Kineo Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Brassua Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and paddling on Kennebec River - West Outlet is  
   so much fun. At Baker Pond throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Baker Pond.
The amount of rain that falls at Baker Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest
 
               month. Camping is available at Seboomook wilderness Campground. If you get bored of Baker Pond, you could also stop at close by Tomhegan Pond, and whitewater paddling is great on Moose River.
Some nearby water includes Tomhegan Stream, and going for a hike on the Big Squaw Mountain Trail is always a good adventure.

This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
