     The slopes of Eaton Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and camping at Northern Outdoors is always a wonderful experience. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moxie Stream; do go to Joes Hole, it's a beautiful lake. On a tremendous day at Baker Pond you can take a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail; a great nearby hotel is Bingham Motor Inn. High temperatures at Baker Pond during the long summer  
   days are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Baker Pond tend to be in the 0's.
Yeah, come here to Baker Pond for a great time. Near Baker Pond you stumble on the Arnolds Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a fine place to camp here at Baker Pond is Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Austin Stream is a pleasant
 
               whitewater spot right next door to Baker Pond; the Intake Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Baker Pond, you could also visit wonderful Moxie Bog.
Baker Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rain; November is the month that gets the most snow; the driest month is February. Baker Stream is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and at Baker Pond you can spot Dimmick Mountain.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
