     Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Fifth Saint John Pond, and if you need a location to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Baker Lake with night lows in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Baker Lake. Lakes are delightful; Clayton Pond is a lake that's near Baker Lake, and  
   Seboomook wilderness Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Baker Branch offers some good whitewater.
Baker Lake is a good site of normal rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture.

This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
