Go to Bag Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Stay the night at Cathedral Pines Camping Area, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Cupsuptic River. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Saddleback; the sight of scenic Bag Pond Mountain is glorious. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Bag Pond has it all. You can run the rapids of Dead River - North Branch next to Bag Pond; don't leave Bag Pond without first going for a hike along

| | the Arnold Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Natanis Pond is close to Bag Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bag Pond has to offer, you can camp at Black Arrow Lodge. A quick trip to Clearwater Brook right next door to Bag Pond is a great idea, and you can go for a hike on the Arnold Pond Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Bag Pond, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter | |

highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Bag Pond temperatures descend to the-10's. At Chain Lakes Dam next to Bag Pond there are some exciting things to see, and there are great spots to discover along
the Morrell Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Bugeye Pond is one of those close by. An average amount of rain falls at Bag Pond; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
