The amount of precipitation that falls at Bag Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Cupsuptic River is a good whitewater spot in the neighborhood       of Bag Pond, and it's a perfect idea to pop by Clearwater Brook. At Chain Lakes Dam near Bag Pond there are some out of the ordinary things to see; there are glorious places to look at along the Morrell Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Bag Pond. While you're here at Bag Pond, you could also visit charming Long Pond, and you can spot Bag Pond Mountain from Bag Pond. Summer at Bag Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the dark                  hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Bag Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Arnold Pond Trail. Good hiking is available along the Arnold Trail, and you can run the rapids of Dead River - North Branch.
