This lake is so wonderful. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the vicinity of Badger Pond has to offer. Near Badger Pond you locate the Number Four Mountain Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and a nice swamp in the vicinity of Badger Pond is Doughty Bog. During the summertime months here at Badger Pond, high       temperatures usually get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Badger Pond drop into the-10's. Badger Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and February on the other hand is the driest. Going for a hike on the Intake Trail is always a good adventure.                  There's so much to do here at Badger Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Balsam woods Campground is a good spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Eighteen Pond near Badger Pond, it's a charming lake, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a good site to spend a night or two. There's whitewater on Big Wilson Stream for all you adrenaline junkies; you can stay the night at Wildwood Shores Campground.
