Wilde Pines Campground is a great campground nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around B Lake; Kennedy Tote Road is a brilliant local trail. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on B Stream, and hey, Gotta ski right? Bigrock is a glorious site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Timoney Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and there's brilliant hiking along the Pierce       Tote Road. The Sweets Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not a little side journey to Hale Brook. What a place this is for outdoors people. If you need a spot to stay Shiretown Motor Inn is a good choice; you can stay the night at My Brothers Place. A magnificent close by hotel is Scottish Inns Houlton, and take a look at close by Innes Beaver Pond. From a precipitation point of view B Lake is a quite normal site; the month with most of the rain                  is July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Mattawamkeag River - East Branch is a tremendous whitewater spot near B Lake. At B Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
