Bear Pond Campground Fun Park
 | Bear Pond has been shut down for about a decade and converted to some stupid condo place, they only have a public beach access provided you have a pass, but the whole camping and fun and all that is no more at Bear Pond...Bear Pond has been shut down for about a decade and converted to some stupid condo place, they only have a public beach access provided you have a pass, but the whole camping and fun and all that is no more at Bear Pond... |
Chaffin Pond
 | 19 miles away This is a nice small pond just off of 302 but you can't hear any of the busy traffic. I'd recommend LOTS of bug sprays as the mosquitoes tend to swarm and are very plentiful this year. If you're not a fisherman but your children are...there are picnic tables for you to enjoy a book, needlepoint, or just relax and take in the fresh air.... |
