A visit to Lake Auburn is always a good idea. If you come at the right time of year, Chandler Brook offers some good whitewater; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Auburn. During your stay at Lake Auburn do go to nearby Auburn Municipal Beach, and obviously, this is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes, Gulf Island Pond is a lake close at hand. There's so much to do here at Lake Auburn that you need to camp here for a while, Maine Campground Owners Association is a pleasant location for that. Lake Auburn gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and September is when it's the driest. | |

This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Lake Auburn is one of those close by, and if you came to camp Martin Stream Campsite is a great site to do that. If you're dropping by Lake Auburn from Lewiston-Auburn,
you won't be the only one; a tour to close by Pine Point is very relaxing. All through the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Lake Auburn while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are
generally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Lake Auburn through the wintertime regularly drop into the 10's. The snow is great at Lost Valley; after a long day outdoors Residence Inn Auburn is a splendid place to spend a night or two.
