Arnold Pond is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Cupsuptic Campground is a fine location to camp nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Dead River - North Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Arnold Pond Trail, and Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a great campground nearby. Much precipitation falls at Arnold Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one       with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the neighborhood of Arnold Pond. Take a hike on the Morrell Trail, and Arnold Pond Dam is pretty. Saddleback has good slopes and a friendly staff, and naturally Massachusetts Bog Stream flows through this vicinity. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Arnold Pond; Arnold Trail is a great local trail; if you come at the right time of year,                  Kennebago River offers some great whitewater. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Arnold Pond; the overnight is a tad colder of course, commonly in the 50's.
