Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Echo Lake, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Crown Park Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Old Dam Tote Road is perfect fun; Arnold Lake Dam is pretty. At Arnold Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier       of course, regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Arnold Lake fall into the-10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Arnold Lake. Arnold Lake is right by the Pierce Tote Road. Lakes are perfect; Burntland Stream is a lake that's right next door to Arnold Lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Arnold Lake; August is the month                  that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bigrock is close to Arnold Lake; whitewater paddling is delightful on Salmon Brook. This lake is so wonderful.
