of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. For the period of the warm months here at Appalachie Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Appalachie Pond temperatures drop to the 10's.
