Maine has many beautiful lakes and Androscoggin Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Springbrook Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sandy River. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Androscoggin Lake rocks! Not far from Androscoggin Lake you obtain some magnificent water scenery at Wayne Village Dam; a day on the slopes of Lost Valley is just what you need.

| | This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Nezinscot River; if you're here, you could also pop by stunning Pocasset Lake. Androscoggin Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is February. There's some flowing water close by, Bog Brook is a stream you can check out while here; you can stay the night at Beaver Brook Campground. Dry warm beds await | |
