The amount of rainfall that falls at Anderson Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout November, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Anderson Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Green Valley Campground is a great local       campground, and dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Airport Inn Waterville. Camping at Countryside Camping is always a fine experience, and Anderson Pond is not far at all from Augusta-Waterville. All through the warmest time of the year here at Anderson Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through                  the winter temperatures at Anderson Pond plunge into the 0's. The snow is glorious at Eaton Mountain, and getting to Stony Brook from Anderson Pond is uncomplicated. There's whitewater on Sheepscot River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and you can spot Cross Hill from Anderson Pond. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Anderson Pond. If you're here at Anderson Pond and you like golf, you can visit Western View Golf Club, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Waterville/Augusta ME is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
