Get covered with water paddling on Millinocket Stream, and taking a little tour to nearby Ambajejus Point is a nice idea. This lake is so wonderful. Ambajejus Lake is right by the Telephone Trail. There's so much to do here at Ambajejus Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big Moose Campground is a magnificent spot for that. Ambajejus Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Roaring Brook Campground       is a brilliant local campground, and Bottle Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. At Ambajejus Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Ambajejus Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. The annual precipitation here at Ambajejus Lake is about average; July is the wettest month with most rain,                  and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Ambajejus Lake. Take a hike on the Ragged Mountain Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Katahdin Inn. If you're visiting Ambajejus Lake from Bangor, you won't be the only one, and since you're here, you could also go to gorgeous Bait Pond.
