     If the weather is great here at Alligator Pond, you can go for a hike along the Auburn Log Hauling Road, and Nahmakanta Stream has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. So many fun things to do here at Alligator Pond, too delightful to be true. Paddling on Pleasant River - West Branch is so much fun; Jo-mary Lake Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. A great close by hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake, and the top of Big Boardman Mountain is easily seen  
   from Alligator Pond. You'll stumble on a gorgeous lake called Boardway Ponds near Alligator Pond, and obviously Logan Brook flows through this neighborhood.
This lake is so wonderful. Frost Pond Campground is a nice local campground; the Number Two Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Throughout the summertime at Alligator Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter
 
               this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Alligator Pond. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Alligator Pond; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake like Seventh Roach Pond in the vicinity of Alligator Pond is a magnificent place to visit. There is a nice hiking trail in close proximity to Alligator Pond called the Gulf Hagas Trail, and Big Squaw has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff.
