Alligator Lake is a wet place that gets much rain; the month with most of the rain is November while February is mostly the driest month. Any time is a nice time at Alligator Lake if you love the outdoors. John Brown Brook is a good place to check out, and camping is available at Eastbrook Campground. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Spring Campground is a great location to camp, and going for a hike on the       Eagle Lake Trail is always a great adventure. Summertime highs at Alligator Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Alligator Lake. Dry warm beds await you at White Birches Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Upper Middle Branch Pond is close by; there are delightful places to discover along                  the Lead Mountain Trail. There's whitewater on Narraguagus River for all you adrenaline kick people, and don't leave Alligator Lake without first going for a hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail.
