All through the warmest time of the year at Allen Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Allen Pond. A day at Auburn Municipal Beach right next door to Allen Pond is time well spent, and you'll come across a charming lake called Berry Pond. Allen Pond generally gets a large amount of precipitation;       November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is September. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Nezinscot River is so much fun; the slopes of Lost Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. A tremendous spot to camp here at Allen Pond is Riverbend Campground, and glide down the rapids of Chandler Brook in a kayak. If you need a place to stay Residence Inn Auburn is a glorious choice, and camping at Allen Pond Campground is always                  a fine experience. This lake is so wonderful.
