    If you are in Oxford county it's always a good idea to stop by Alder River South Branch Reservoir. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is plentiful here in the White Mountains. Alder River South Branch Reservoir is in the neighborhood of South Branch Dam which is a picturesque place definitely worth checking out; after a long day outdoors The Victoria Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. One of the dominant highlights of  
   the surroundings of Alder River South Branch Reservoir is Mount Abram, and you need to pop by Goss Ledge while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Albany Brook Trail; a day on the slopes of Mount Abram is just what you need.
Take a hike on the Albany Notch Trail, and the skiing at Black Mountain is great. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Throughout the summer months at Alder River South Branch
