Many people like to go to Alder Lake. All through the warm days of summer here at Alder Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 10's while Alder Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. | | when it's the driest. Chandler Mountain is beautiful and can be seen from Alder Lake, and of course, A visit to The Notch is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Bigrock; going for a hike on the Old Dam Tote Road is always a glorious adventure. Get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Croix Stream, and camping is available at Libby's Sporting Camps. Go for a hike on the Sweets Trail, and Crown Park Inn is a good spot | |

to get some rest. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Glide down the rapids of Salmon Brook in a kayak; a wonderful location to camp here at Alder Lake is Neil E Michaud Campground.
