Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Sheepscot River, and camping is available at Campers Cove. Adams Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls through November while February is typically the driest month. Through the summer highs here at Adams Pond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come       with lows in the 0's to Adams Pond. What a site this is for outdoors people. If you came for an overnight stay Little Ponderosa Campground is a brilliant site to camp; why not take a refreshing hike along the Hockomock Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You get a brilliant panorama of Burleigh Hill from Adams Pond, and Harbour Towne Inn is a good site to get some rest. Playing golf is lots of fun at Boothbay Country Club, and at Adams Pond Dam close                  to Adams Pond there are some interesting things to see.
