You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Shawnee Peak since you're here. Through the months of summer highs here at Adams Pond get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime       at Adams Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Sebago Lake Family Campground, and a quick tour to Northwest River is absolutely a delightful idea. There are plenty of folks from Portland-South Portland here at Adams Pond, and if you need a location to stay Pleasant Mountain Inn is a glorious choice. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Rainbow Pond, and why not camp                  at Acres Of wildlife Camping if you're here at Adams Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Adams Pond a wet place; during November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September. Be careful coming to Adams Pond, you might not ever want to return home again.
