Ackley Pond is a rather wet place commonly with a large amount of precipitation; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here while August is mostly the driest month. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Ackley Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Whiting Bay offers some great whitewater,       and don't miss out on a brilliant swamp; Harmon Heath is right here at Ackley Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Davis Beach is a beach close to Ackley Pond that you can have a look at, and camping at Knowlton's Seashore Campground is always a pleasant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Ackley Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the                  20's with temperatures at Ackley Pond dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
