Camping at Chimney Pond Campground is always a pleasant experience, and brilliant hiking is available along the Abol Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Abol Pond; Abot Trail is a perfect local trail; camping is available
at Roaring Brook Campground. Do go to Rocky Pond in close proximity to Abol Pond, it's a charming lake; the slopes of Big Squaw are so inviting noone can resist.
