While you're here at Abol Pond you can take a hike along the Abot Trail, and you can run the rapids of Nesowadnehunk Stream River. Why not camp at Chimney Pond Campground       if you're here at Abol Pond, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Abol Trail. Summer at Abol Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Abol Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Big Squaw. If the weather is glorious                  here at Abol Pond, you can go for a hike along the Cathedral Trail; since you're here, you could also check out gorgeous Rocky Pond. So much exciting stuff to do at Abol Pond, so little time. Do stop at Duck Pond close to Abol Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and at Abol Pond you can catch a sight of Abol Mountain.
