    Do stop by Abol Pond while you're in this part of Maine. Abol Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Nesowadnehunk Stream, and the Cathedral Trail offers hiking at its best. During the summer months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Abol Pond. During the moonlight hours it's frequently  
   in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; night lows in the-10's for Abol Pond.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. You'll locate a stunning lake called Duck Pond near Abol Pond, and a glorious nearby hotel is Katahdin Inn. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful panorama of pretty Abol Mountain is available from Abol Pond, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Nesowadnehunk Stream River. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               Camping at Chimney Pond Campground is always a pleasant experience, and brilliant hiking is available along the Abol Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Abol Pond; Abot Trail is a perfect local trail; camping is available at Roaring Brook Campground. Do go to Rocky Pond in close proximity to Abol Pond, it's a charming lake; the slopes of Big Squaw are so inviting noone can resist.
