If you need a place to stay The Perennial Inn is a good choice, and a beautiful lake like Washburn Pond is a magnificent place to take a look at. A splendid place to camp here at Abbotts Pond is Mountain View Campground, and do take a hike on the Chimney Trail. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Abbotts Pond; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month       is February. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Abbotts Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Abbotts Pond through the winter frequently dip into the-10's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little Androscoggin River, and the slopes of Black Mountain                  are so inviting noone can resist. Mount Abram is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful.
