A gorgeous lake like Buddy Pond right next door to Wrights Pond is a nice place to stop at, and on a perfect day you can visit Herring Gut, a swamp close to Wrights Pond. Do visit Gibbs Pond near Wrights Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and dry warm beds await you at Francis Scott Key Motel. During the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Wrights Pond, and throughout       the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while Wrights Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Ocean City is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Wrights Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Assateague State Park is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. A day at Little Egging                  Beach close to Wrights Pond is time well spent, and a quick trip to Ayer Creek is beyond doubt a fine idea. Beaches are perfect; and Great Egging Beach in the neighborhood of Wrights Pond is no exception, and a round of golf at nearby Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. Much rainfall falls at Wrights Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain while April is typically the driest month. This is a popular location for folks from Ocean Pines. Good hiking is available along the Ragged Point Trail; Wrights Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Bayside Campground is a nice local campground. This place rocks, just check out all the fun things to do in the neighborhood of Wrights Pond.
