Do stop by Wilde Lake while you're in this part of Maryland. Summer at Wilde Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows at Wilde Lake throughout the wintertime regularly plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Wilde Lake, for example Lake Kittamaqundi, and Little Patuxent River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. A nice close by hotel is Bridgestreet Corporate Housing Gramercy At Town Center. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Wilde Lake has to offer, you
can camp at Scotts Cove Campground. Yeah, come here to Wilde Lake for a delightful time. On a good day at Wilde Lake you can take a hike along the White Horse Trail, and it's a great idea to take a look at Red Hill Branch. Wilde Lake
is a great place to visit for more than one day, Sports International is a great place to camp nearby, and playing golf is lots of fun at Fairway Hills Golf Club.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Wilde Lake a wet
place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail near Wilde Lake called the Valley Trail, and lakes are such calm locations, why not visit Lake Elkhorn.
