If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Annapolis is a splendid choice, and there are plenty of people from Baltimore-Towson here. This lake is so wonderful. Herring Run is a good whitewater spot near White Pond, and Super 8 Annapolis MD is a good place to get some rest. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would       be. If time allows, Greenbelt Park is a national park worth taking a look at. Take a look at close by Hines Pond Bog; do schedule some time to explore Hog Neck if you have a chance. White Pond is a relatively wet place mostly with much precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Rock                  Point Shoal, and why not camp at Millersville Koa Kampground since you're here at White Pond. Summer at White Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows at White Pond through the winter frequently dip into the 20's. R J Campground is a tremendous local campground, and hiking along the Boxes Point Trail is delightful fun. Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do close to White Pond. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gunpowder Falls, of course you could also stop by Yates Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Rocky Point Golf Course is close by; one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Gibson Island Beach.   Comfort Inn Annapolis, Annapolis 7 miles away Locate off RT50.
