A large amount of precipitation falls at Wherritts Pond; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while December is commonly the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn Lexington Park Patuxent River Naval Air Station, and Wherritts Pond is not the only spot close by, Norris Pond is a close by lake. This lake is       so wonderful. A delightful beach close to Wherritts Pond is Saint George Island Beach, and the great people of Lexington Park like to hang out close by. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. A tremendous spot to camp here at Wherritts Pond is Seaside View Recreation; a quick visit to Broom Creek is certainly a splendid idea. Taking a little visit to nearby Bettys Cove is a nice idea; camping at Dennis Point Marina is always a wonderful experience.                  This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Wherritts Pond, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Wherritts Pond.
