Time spent at Saint George Island Beach right next door to Wherritts Pond is always great, and if you need a location to stay Lexington Park-Days Inn is a delightful choice. You'll stumble on a charming lake called Langley Hollow near Wherritts Pond; camping at Seaside View Recreation is always a splendid experience. Wherritts Pond       is good enough to spend more than a day at, Dennis Point Marina is a good local campground; after a long day outdoors TownePlace Suites Lexington Park is a great spot to spend a night or two. You'll meet a lot of folks from Lexington Park here; Broom Creek is near Wherritts Pond and is always a diversion to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Wherritts Pond. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's.
