So much cool stuff to do at Walkersville Reservoir, so little time. Lake Anita Louise is a great lake near Walkersville Reservoir; a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Bennett Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful lake like Lake Linganore close to Walkersville Reservoir is a great place to pop by,       and the vistas at Catoctin Mountain Park will blow your mind. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Ski Liberty; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Gettysburg. Just can't get enough of Walkersville Reservoir. Why not camp at New Hope Valley Campground since you're here at Walkersville Reservoir, and playing golf is lots of fun at Glade Valley Golf Club. Walkersville Reservoir is a reasonably wet place mostly with lots of precipitation;                  the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Take a little journey to Laurel Branch while you're here at Walkersville Reservoir, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Owens Creek. High temperatures at Walkersville Reservoir throughout the summer months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Walkersville Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Frederick Travelodge is a fine location to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail.
