Get yourself into a kayak and hit Potomac River, and Golf Course Register is a good golf course close by. | | Washington-Arlington-Alexandria. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Stone Lake you can take a hike along the White Horse Trail, and Dalecarlia Reservoir is a good lake nearby. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Stone Lake; most of the rain falls through May; February is when it's the driest.

the warm days of summer highs here at Stone Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Stone Lake during the wintertime
mostly sink into the 20's. On a great day at Stone Lake you can take a hike along the Valley Trail; if you haven’t been to Greenbelt Park, you should schedule some time for it while you're here.
Camping at Cherry Hill Park is always a wonderful experience; get drenched paddling on Rock Creek.
