So many entertaining things near Stone Lake, clearly unbelievable. You could also go to Big Millpond since you're here at Stone Lake; it's close by, and Stone Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Cherry Hill Park is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Christopher Run Campground is always a splendid experience; Stone Lake is not the only site nearby, Reno Reservoir is       a nearby lake. Dry warm beds await you at American Inn Of Bethesda. Stone Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. At Stone Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Stone Lake are in the 20's. If you're a golfer                  then a fine close by course is Golf Course Register, and lots of folks from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria come here. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Potomac River in a kayak, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the White Horse Trail. Coquelin Run flows through this neighborhood, and nearby you stumble on the Valley Trail which is a good hiking trail. Get covered with water paddling on Rock Creek, and if you need a spot to stay Doubletree Hotel Bethesda is a nice choice.
