Stavley Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. So many cool things to do here at Stavley Pond, too good to be true. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Chestertown is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Fairlee Lake is in the neighborhood. Hiking along the Duck Inn Trail is splendid fun; paddling       on Winters Run is so much fun. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHESTERTOWN is a splendid choice, and if you came to camp Bay Country Campground is a good place to do that. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Little Gunpowder Falls, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Mitchell Bluff. Take a hike on the Boxes Point Trail, and Beacon Bay is close by and always pleasant to go to. Summertime highs at Stavley Pond                  usually tend to be in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Stavley Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Stavley Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Bay Shore Campground is a tremendous local campground, and some of the water nearby flows, like Fairlee Creek.
