Many people like to go to Lake Ruth. Paddling on Anacostia River - Northwest Branch is so much fun, and lots of people from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria come here. Lake Ruth gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Take a hike on the Hidden Spring Trail; a lake nearby is Post Office Lake.

| | Ruth is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Harmony Place Trailer Park is a wonderful local campground. If you get bored of Lake Ruth, you could also take a look at nearby Clinton Regional Park Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Butler Branch is a stream you can have a look at while here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Panhandle Trail.

Lake Ruth. An afternoon playing golf at Robin Dale Golf Club is always a joy; hiking along the West Trail is delightful fun. There's so much to do here at Lake Ruth that you need to camp here for a while, Cedarville State Park is
a fine site for that, and after a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn Waldorf is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Lake Ruth mostly tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 70's.
Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 40's while Lake Ruth night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
Comfort Suites Waldorf is a delightful place to get some rest; if you haven’t been to Fort Washington Park, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here.
