In Maryland there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Royer is one of them. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Royer. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Lake Royer; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Lake Royer beyond doubt is in the middle of a
gorgeous outdoors paradise. There are brilliant spots to discover along the High Rock Nature Trail; you're sure to bump into some nice folks from Chambersburg here. You're possibly interested in lakes, Lake Royer is one of those close
by, and going for a hike on the Spiderbush Nature Trail is always a nice adventure.
What a place this is for outdoors people. Lake Royer is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, William Houck Campground is a tremendous
local campground, and Quirauk Mountain can be observed from Lake Royer. This lake is so wonderful. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Antietam Creek - East Branch; great water scenery is available at Lower Lake Royer Dam
right next door to Lake Royer. There's whitewater on Hunting Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Waynesboro.
