If you are in this part of Maryland make sure to pay a visit to Ridgedale Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Pinto Utilities Reservoir is in the vicinity, and hey, Braddock Run is a pleasant local stream. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ridgedale Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Iron Mountain Campground, and Ridgedale Reservoir is right by the Old Mail Trail. The Narrows is a splendid place to stop by close to Ridgedale

| | Reservoir, and a short trip to Big Blue Spring is always worthwhile. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Ridgedale Reservoir. Stay the night at Reserve World; do take a hike on the Wigfield Trail. Ridgedale Reservoir gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Cumberland-Downtown, Md is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. No need to travel far to pop by interesting stuff like Lovers Leap, and Wills Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby.
If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Ridgedale Reservoir. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jennings Run, and you can have a good hiking
adventure along the Gum Spring Trail. Lake Habeeb is a brilliant lake near Ridgedale Reservoir, and Fairfield Inn & Suites Cumberland is a nice place to get some rest. Through the days of summer at Ridgedale Reservoir highs are
commonly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows at Ridgedale Reservoir through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 10's.

Since this is too far from where I live I believe once the weather get nicer I'll have to go hike it.
