The Narrows is a splendid place to stop by close to Ridgedale       Reservoir, and a short trip to Big Blue Spring is always worthwhile. Ridgedale Reservoir gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Ridgedale Reservoir is not far at all from Cumberland,                  and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Cumberland-Downtown, Md is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. No need to travel far to pop by interesting stuff like Lovers Leap, and Wills Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Ridgedale Reservoir. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jennings Run, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Gum Spring Trail. Lake Habeeb is a brilliant lake near Ridgedale Reservoir, and Fairfield Inn & Suites Cumberland is a nice place to get some rest. Through the days of summer at Ridgedale Reservoir highs are commonly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.
