    Raymond Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Camping is available at Lake Bonnie Camp. Raymond Pond is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Take a look at nearby Cow Point Marsh; why not take a look at Bull Point also while you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Cambridge, Md is a tremendous place to spend a night
 
   or two, and a pretty lake like Dieffenbach Pond is a glorious place to explore. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Raymond Pond get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Raymond Pond. Little Blackwater River flows through this neighborhood, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Cambridge  
               for sure.
Dry warm beds await you at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort, and lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Coulson Pond. But wait, there's more to do near Raymond Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Tideland Park Campgrounds is a fine place to camp, and a tour to Hog Range revitalizes the soul.

I have camped at this campground for several years now. While there used to be a lot of activities for the campers, this past season wasn't so! There were some activities on some of the major weekends (a very bad band for the Fourth weekend) but other than some activities for the younger kids, the teenagers are left to their own devices for entertainment. Nevertheless, it is a good place to relax....

Regular camping fees at this time (06/08) are $16/night. I have been camping at Greenbelt Park every summer for a week for the last 7 years. It was always at $14 up till last year when it went up to $16. Great Park though! Love it!...
