Rainbow Lake is a nice lake to visit. Be careful coming to Rainbow Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. While you're here at Rainbow Lake you can play some golf at Mountain View Golf Club, and the sights at Catoctin Mountain Park will blow your mind. Paddling on Owens Creek is so much fun, and a forest close by is Blacks Hilltop Orchard.

| | thing to do around Rainbow Lake; High Rock Nature Trail is a delightful local trail. Rainbow Lake is right by the Spiderbush Nature Trail, and from Rainbow Lake you get a glorious vista of Carrick Knob. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Rainbow Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail; there are plenty of folks from Gettysburg here at Rainbow Lake.

Dam is a place that is right next door to Rainbow Lake, and after a long day outdoors Ski Liberty Resort Conference is a splendid place to spend a night or two. While staying at Rainbow Lake you could always discover Eylers Valley,
and a good close by hotel is Liberty Mountain Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Hunting Creek in a kayak, and you can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Ski Liberty.
Summertime highs at Rainbow
Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rainbow Lake are in the 10's. Emmitsburg Reservoir is
a pleasant lake near Rainbow Lake; you can stay the night at William Houck Campground. A typical amount of rain falls here at Rainbow Lake; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
