A visit to Rainbow Lake is always a good idea. Rainbow Lake is a good location of normal precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July; January on the other hand is the driest. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Burnt Mills Trail, and Ravens Den is a delightful location. Rainbow Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Rocky Gap State Park is a tremendous local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Cumberland-Downtown,

| | Md. There's so much to do here at Rainbow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Springs Campground is a good place for that, and do take a hike on the Dickens Trail. Throughout the days of summer at Rainbow Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. in the 10's. Lakes are wonderful; Lake Habeeb is a lake that's near Rainbow Lake, and get drenched paddling on Town Creek. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gum Spring Trail; since you're here, you could pop by Lick Run.
This lake is so wonderful. People from Cumberland love to come to Rainbow Lake, and you could always look at Bear Hollow. So much cool stuff to do here at Rainbow Lake, too great to be true. From Rainbow Lake you get a perfect sight
of Betsy Knob. If you adore the outdoors, you'll love Rainbow Lake. You don’t have to go far from Rainbow Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Don Pleasant Dam, and Rocky Gap Lodge is a good spot to get some rest. This lake
is so wonderful. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Paul Roeder Farm Pond is a lake close by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Flintstone Creek.
